Living in the country is great, but we rely on water from a deep bore, about 40 metres below ground, which is then pumped another 40 meters up hill to a Tank. An electrical Burnout left our family with no way of filling our water tank, this means no toilets, no showers, no water for stock and "OH My God NO COFFEE" ...... but actually not funny, had just soaped myself up in the shower when the water stopped and had to wipe it all off with a towel, lucky there was still about a litre in the jug ......
Cue "Trade Tested" the guys moved heaven and hell to get a Generator to us so we could fill our tanks !!
I'm an Engineer so appreciate the Quality of this little 3 Phase unit, I wired up a cable to the pump and we had water, thats a great feeling believe me !!
The Generator itself is Nice and compact, starts easily on the pull chord (Battery was flat from storage but has charged now) even the Missus who struggles starting a mower can start this, Electric start is great and automatically works the choke circuit.
Most Country houses are 3 phase because of current limitations on the poles, in an emergency if you hook up a single phase generator to your house you'll only get one circuit livened up, maybe lights, maybe a few hotpoints, maybe kitchen, you get the idea. The bonus for us with this little 3 phase unit is that you can liven up the whole house in a blackout ...... ok so you can only pull 2kw of current per phase, but it will keep your fridges going, boil a jug, lighting, TV, computers, charge stuff as long as your sensible about what you expect the little Newman Generator is a total life saver !!
Using in the Back of the Car with hatch and doors open so I can drive it too and from the pump as needed .... Farms always have spare cars :-)

Quiet Power Supply
Very happy with this generator. Remote works well over a long distance. When on a 25m extension lead, you can just hear this operating. Only negative would be not having a fuel gauge but I guess I'll know when it runs out!
Newman Generator
we bought this product from Trade Tested and has been amazing for our work site , very quiet , easy to start, handle the saw and few bateries on charge.
Brilliant
An excellent portable/luggable generator. At 94Kg it's fine on solid ground but gets interesting to move on soft or sloping terrain. Well made and good quality with everything needed in the box including the plug for a power supply to a caravan or house. Not a pure sine generator but maintains a stable voltage under variable loads.
Great little generator
Really happy with this purchase. I wanted a back-up power supply for our home and as long as I'm careful with the load I'll be able to pretty much keep the house running as normal.... including fridge/freezer, heat pump etc. Electric start is a real bonus too !
Newman Generator
Had a 3500w older generator pry to purchasing my new one and it struggled on some jobs the Newman Generator 6500w rocks even runs my arc welder without breaking a sweat very happy recommended great value.

Great product
I bought one of these generators nearly 2 years ago. Product performed beyond expectations. Had a defect recently but Trade Tested put it right without hesitation. Can fully recommend product and Trade Tested.
Warning re fuel left in generator tank
I have owned one of these generators for nearly 2 years and have run it for about 50 hours in total. I drain the carb after each use. Today I drained all the fuel from the tank with a syphon pump and was astounded to see the inside of the fuel VERY rusty. Probably limited life left in it! BE AWARE!
Almost great.
We ran the generator in yesterday and about 2 hours in the ac plugs stopped working. We tried to shut the generator down to reset them but found we couldn't. The start stop switch is faulty. We were still able to run it in for 5 hours and were able to reset the ac sockets without shutting the generator off. To shut it down we had to switch the fuel supply off and let it choke. On the plus side it did start first time and everything ran perfectly except the on off switch. We will get an electrician to fix it. I would have given this generator five stars were it not for the faulty switch.
Very impressive
Ordered this inverter generator to replace a smaller one I used during the recent storm very impressed with the service from Trade tested the generator was well packaged and after a simple assembly of wheels and handle added some oil and petrol and it started immediately very impressive I would definitely recommend bothered Trade tested and the Newman generator very happy with both

Gets the job done
Works for what it was intended for. A bit noisy and goes through a fair bit of fuel if you have it running all day.

I have serviced generators over the years in the hire industry.This is a well built and sturdy generator.Assembly was easy and all castings on the motor are very,very good.This indicates a quality build. Remote start is a feature that is included but to be honest it's a bit of a gimmick but it works fine and some people like it. Loads of features on the controller panel and the fit of everything is good.The carb and intake are easily accessible for routine maintenance for long term storage.Pull start feels smooth.Nice touch to supply a 32amp male plug as well.Its noise level is normal exhaust wise and the engine itself sounds sweet no rattles or knocks.Electric start is easy. Overall this gene has a feel and build quality WELL over its price and I could name a very well known make that is twice the price of this and doesn't feel as good as a overall package.Time will tell about longevity but I've seen enough here to beleive it will be absolutely bullet proof reliable.

Great looking product, with a few extra features that weren't listed such as the ATS port and it comes with a couple of plugs for wiring leads to which is helpful if you're planning on using the 32A socket to run a house etc. Note it does not include oil so you do need to get a litre of 10w-30 from somewhere to get up and running.

Works great, but only a couple times so far
Bought this as an emergency generator and if works well the first time, and haven't needed to use it in an emergency yet. Easy enough to assemble, but would have been nice had there been better instructions on where things were (had to hunt around a little).
